Purpose: Plan, execute and oversee operation, testing and maintenance of high-voltage transmission systems to ensure reliable power transfer.
Key Responsibilities
Review single-line diagrams, protection schemes and technical drawings.
Supervise testing/commissioning of transformers, switchgear and relays.
Analyse faults, perform RCA and implement corrective actions.
Ensure correct earthing, insulation coordination and protection settings.
Lead outage planning and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
Maintain SAP/CMMS records and ensure HSE compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
8–10 years’ experience in transmission (EHV preferred).
Expertise in protection, testing and commissioning of HV equipment.
Strong planning and stakeholder coordination skills.
