Purpose: Design, configure and maintain protection systems for HV transmission assets to ensure safe and selective fault clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and validate relay settings; oversee testing and commissioning.
Investigate protection operations; conduct event analysis and reporting.
Coordinate with operations for safe switching and system changes.
Update protection schemes and documentation in line with standards.
Support outages and grid compliance activities.
Ensure HSE compliance across field and control-room activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
8–10 years’ experience in HV/EHV protection engineering.
Proficiency with modern protection relays, test sets and analysis tools.
Strong communication and technical writing skills.
