NRL are currently recruiting for an HV Electrical Engineer to work on a project in Isle of Grain.
Starting as soon as possible, the expected duration of the contract will be 4 months.
The ideal candidate will have a HNC/ HND in Electrical Engineering and experience in Isophase busbar repairs, maintenance of main circuit breakers, maintenance of 400kV asset, large generator maintenance (preferably hydrogen cooled), maintenance of switchgear, large motors etc.
The engineer will be required to manage and oversee works on HV electrical equipment.
Experience of Heavy industrial generator maintenance and management of generator OEM's essential.
Experience with large electrical assets and/or rotational assets beneficial.
Experience in the following desirable;
CDM
NEBOSH
Management of plant and process change
Combined cycle gas turbine power station maintenance
Outage and Contractor Management
Tender preparation
Quality management
Project management
