About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Unified Communications & Azure Cloud Engineer to join the Manchester office. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for individuals eager to build a career in cloud technologies and unified communications. You’ll receive training and support to develop your skills while contributing to real-world projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the administration and support of Microsoft Teams and Azure cloud environments
  • Learn and apply networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VoIP)
  • Support video conferencing and unified communications setups
  • Troubleshoot issues using tools such as Wireshark and call analytics
  • Contribute to documentation and team collaboration
  • Develop awareness of security, compliance, and identity fundamentals


Educational Background
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or related field (preferred but not essential)
  • Candidates without a degree but with certifications/practical knowledge are encouraged to apply
Certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Microsoft: AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals), MS-700 (Managing Microsoft Teams), SC-900 (Security, Compliance & Identity Fundamentals)
  • CompTIA: Network+, A+
  • Optional progression certifications: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate), MS-720 (Teams Voice Engineer)
Technical Skills
  • Basic understanding of networking and cloud concepts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams administration
  • Awareness of security principles (encryption, authentication, compliance)
Soft Skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
  • Team-oriented with good documentation habits
