NRL Are currently recruiting for an advanced global designer and manufacturer of subsea control solutions. Operating across several technology areas, They specialize in subsea trenching, work class ROVs, submerged mining and vessel deck equipment. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer, on a Permanent Basis, Based near to Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The Job

Our Client are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineers to join their Services Team. The purpose of the role is to provide hands on technical support and operations advice for the full SMD product range both in the factory and at various customer locations worldwide as and when required.

 

 

What will you be doing?

Your job will be to support our products throughout their lifecycle including getting involved in on-site manufacturing, commissioning and factory acceptance testing and then following these products to installation, commissioning, mobilisation and sea trials. You will also get involved in supporting customers with existing equipment.

 

 

What Qualifications & Skills do I need?

We’re looking for good team players who have experience of working offshore preferably with subsea and deck equipment. We need people who understand the importance of working in an efficient and safe manner, with excellent problem solving skills to support and maintain the quality of our products. We need people we can trust to support our clients and represent our brand.

 

We need new team members who either have, or have the capability to attain, the relevant offshore safety, survival and medical certifications. If these are not up to date we will fund them for the right candidates. It would be beneficial for the individual to have an engineering qualification, either mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or multidisciplinary. The role also requires a flexible attitude as extensive travel is a fundamental part of the role.
