Purpose: Lead maintenance and optimisation of instrumentation and control systems for BESS facilities to ensure accurate measurement and reliable control.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and perform preventive/corrective maintenance on I&C devices (valves, transmitters, PLCs).
Troubleshoot I&C failures; calibrate and align instruments.
Read/control diagrams; implement modifications and improvements.
Maintain detailed records and ensure CMMS (SAP) accuracy.
Collaborate with operations during commissioning and testing.
Enforce HSE procedures and permit-to-work compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation/Control or Electrical Engineering (Diploma acceptable with strong experience).
5–7 years’ I&C experience in power plants; BESS exposure preferred.
Strong calibration, diagnostics and documentation skills.
Knowledge of PLC/SCADA interfaces and safe work practices.
