NRL are currently recruiting for Phase 2a Land Access Project Manager to work with one of our engineering clients supporting phase 2a of the High Speed 2 project. The role will be based in Birmingham and on an initial 6 month contract.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and management of the Land Delivery Team
  • Operational oversight of the Land Delivery Process (including FLAB)
  • Act as the Phase 2a representative in FLAB workshops
  • Act as a point of contact and interface with L&P and Delivery SPMs and PMs
  • Coordinate timely and accurate delivery of land requests
  • Lead meetings with relevant parties to enable effective Land Delivery
  • Change management
  • MI reporting (incl. MBR, Programme Review etc.)
  • Manage team responsible for providing inputs into GIS
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of an Integrated Land Possession Programme
  • Support the Programme Integration and Improvement Office to provide coherence and coordination across all Work Packages and functions within Phase 2a
  • Monitor and update Land Access attempts, refusals and feed into enforcement decision making process
  • Act as the liaison between the Land Programme Board and 2a Delivery teams
  • Enable and support contractor readiness and onboarding support (namely Advanced Civil Works and Design Delivery Partner)
  • Oversight of the Farm Packs development and Agriculture Liaison Service to support engagement activity to enable land delivery
  • Support the continuous improvement of Land Delivery processes
