- to take a lead role in the development of nuclear safety cases
- technical quality and excellence of your work
- communication with clients and other design team members and participation in Design Reviews, HAZOPs and stakeholder meetings
- contributing to the development of designs for complex nuclear facilities
- adherence and contribution to business and quality management systems
- operational and design safety, and developing good safety culture
- experience and knowledge of safety case procedures and systems at UK nuclear licensed and or Authorised sites
- understanding of the principles of nuclear safety as applied on both civilian and military applications
- a working knowledge of key legislation and regulatory requirements relating to nuclear licensed sites
- proven track record in delivering safety case documentation,
- good verbal and written communication, and report writing skills
- ability to produce safety case documentation
- proven ability to work as part of a team, liaising directly with clients and other design team members
- degree qualified
