Project Engineer / Senior Engineer - Civil 

Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees 

We are currently looking for an experienced Civil / Project Engineer / Snior Engineer to join our skilled team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role As a Civil / Project Engineer / Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and construction phases of engineering works. Preparing technical documents, including project briefs and specifications, you will work on tender submissions, contract and reports.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will oversee the work of the CAD Draughtsmen, reviewing project calculations and reports and contract admin for outside parties. You will manage the work of external consultants, leading consultation and liaising with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors and regulatory authorities as required.

About You

At least five years’ experience in a similar role within civil engineering, construction or demolition
A proven track record of improving culture and performance
A good knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering software
Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask
Good verbal and written communication skills
A BEng / MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a minimum of two years’ post graduate experience
To be a graduate member of the ICE or IStructE

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, and until 4pm on Fridays. Other organisations may call this role Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Construction Engineer, Demolition Engineer, or Construction Project Engineer.
