Senior Recruitment Consultant – International Recruitment (Engineering)
Due to growth with multiple key clients and the further development of our technical recruitment focus within the engineering, and construction sectors, NRL are very excited to announce we will be expanding our international recruitment team.
We are now looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant who will support our existing clients across the business (no new business development activity required) and build a high-performing desk in our international delivery team based in Woking.
Your personalised training will begin by supporting the Divisional Manager within the NRL Group. Throughout this early period, you will be exposed to new software, given increased responsibility and access to all the tools to move towards working independently to service our existing client base and managing your own accounts.

About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, senior team member to play a key role in the growth of our newly formed international recruitment delivery team, driven by the demand from NRL’s key clients.
Responsibilities:
Utilising LinkedIn Recruiter (and other sourcing tools as required) and targeted job boards to recruit candidates across primarily Europe (including Ireland) and MENA regions
Manage own recruitment desk - setting example in approach to recruitment and hitting personal financial targets
Communicating and facilitating recruitment opportunities with the support of the NRL branch network
Working closely with experienced members of the team to develop prospective customers into loyal clients
Assisting in setting, monitoring and communicating targets/objectives, of self and potentially others in the future
Ensure the database is monitored and updated

Work with the Divisional Manager at your own pace to realise career progression opportunities. Based on the aspects of the role you enjoy and are well matched for, these could include; leading the international recruitment team, supporting with business development and large / key account management
Facilitate training, whilst motivating and guiding colleagues with the team
Assist with conducting and compiling Personal Development Plans with the team on a 6 monthly and annual basis
Play a key role in the delivery of NRL’s international recruitment services
Assist with interviews for new team members
Play a pivotal role in supporting the direction of business growth
Review new software and business development methods to support the business development activities of NRL
Have an overview of NRL’s business units across the UK and be able to identify opportunities where there is synergy with existing and potential clients internationally
Develop an understanding of market conditions within specific industry sector(s) & regions
What we’re looking for:
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Comfortable to be in front of clients representing NRL
The ideal candidate will have experience with international recruitment either gained from an internal function or agency background
Confident telephone manner
Very good communication skills (both verbally and via email)
Very strong organisational skills
Enjoy working in a fast paced, reactive environment
Desire to learn, develop and progress as part of a long career at NRL
Foreign language skills would be desirable but by no means essential
