Senior Process Engineer

Our client is one of the world’s largest providers of engineering, technical & professional services across a wide range of sectors, including nuclear & defence.

Highly motivated & accomplished Senior Process Engineer required to lead and produce technical packages for the Instrument Replacement Technical Team on an esteemed Nuclear Project in the North West.

This facility is a laboratory and analysis environment and it would be beneficial (though not essential), to show familiarity with such plants, preferably in the nuclear sector or any other highly regulated arena.

Key skills / attributes:
Must have wide discipline coverage of process systems, gaseous exchanges, chemical preparation and stored solid, to include their delivery to simplify value realisation of engineering / instrumentation systems and solutions.

Ability to work with minimum supervision reporting directly to the Project Manager.

Strong mind set for installation, operation and commissioning in the nuclear sector.

Robust in their approach to deliver and be able to identify appropriate technical requirements for both current & potential future replacement projects, ensuring the appropriate level of detail for Planning & Scoping, Detail Design and Execution stages.

Exceptional knowledge of design and construction of similar industrial plants in the following;
o Gas Delivery Systems, 
o Sample Analysis Methodology, 
o DSEAR Assessment, 
o Nuclear Analytical Lab Design
o Flowsheets, PFDs, EFDs, S&IDDs, Instrument Process Data Sheets, Process Data Sheets.

The role requires a dynamic & successful interface with Integrated Design Team, Instrument Suppliers, Plant Operational Teams and other Project linked functions.
Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills are key to this role.

Adaptable to changing work fronts, environments and challenging situations.
Must be a driven forward thinking professional with an ability to problem solve.

Desired:
BPSS  or SC Security Clearance (if no clearance held must be willing to go through clearance process)
