NRL are currently recruiting for a Structural Design Engineer to work remotely from the UK, for an Irish based multi discipline design client of ours on an initial 6-month contract.



Responsibilities:

  • As part of your role, you will be working with a Lead engineer and wider design team to develop structural design and drawings for projects. 

  • Responsible for developing and coordinating the structural design for specific elements on projects.  This will require you have a solid understanding of the Eurocodes, with a strong emphasis on steel framed structures. 

  •  The projects that you will be involved in are large scale pharmaceutical developments in Ireland and Continental Europe. 

Requirements:

  • Work independently with little direction on structural design

  • Industrial design experience preferable

  • Good communication skills

  • Have experience of design coordination using Navisworks or similar tools

  • Be proficient in STAAD / ROBOT / TEKLA

  • Be able to communicate design intent to Revit designers using Bluebeam or similar tool
