Bridgwater
Situated in the county of Somerset, Bridgwater is a large town and one of the most important ports in England. It is situated on the River Parrett, 21 miles north east of Taunton and 15 miles south west of Yeovil.
Engineering is a key sector in the local economy, and there are several engineering businesses in Bridgwater including oil and gas manufacture and repair, and metal fabrication. The town also has links to the nuclear industry through companies such as Rolls Royce, which manufactures nuclear reactors at their nearby facilities.
Bridgwater is well served for transport, there are regular bus services from the heart of Bridgwater to Bristol Airport, Weston-Super-Mare and Taunton Train Stations. Trains also run through Bridgwater which can take you to Exeter, London Paddington and other major cities in the UK.
