NRL are currently recruiting for a Change Management Lead to join a client of ours, a leading supplier of industrial gases. The role will be on an initial 12-month contract, based in Hersham.
Role Responsibilities:
Setup and administer the Change Management work process for the full life cycle of the project.
Act as the main point of contact for all Change Management activities (internal and external).
Lead weekly Change Management review meetings
Ensure approved changes are accurately reflected in all reporting/performance indicators.
Maintain detailed change management records. Analyse change order values against current budget and prepare reconciliations to include in forecast at completion reports.
Working closely with the project team, client, sub-consultants, and main contractors
Advise, coach, manage and mentor more junior change management team members
Equip the business with the skills to better manage and sustain change
Monitor and control project compliance in respect of the project’s contractual obligations and our client’s procedural requirements.
Work with key stakeholders to identify project risks and lead the cost and schedule contingency management process for assigned projects.
Coordinate Project Controls team's contributions to development of project funding request following an approved change.
Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project cost and schedule performance to identify potential risk areas, validate forecasts, and communicate those quickly to key stakeholders. Assist project team in development of action plans to avoid cost & schedule overruns.
Support and participate in internal and external audits related to project controls, cost, and SOX compliance.
Role Requirements:
Sound knowledge, proven skills, and competencies in application of change management, project cost control principles, methodologies, and tools, supporting all phases of project execution, especially around Change Management, Project Cost Control, Forecasting and Reporting, within a large project-oriented EPC or Owner Organisation.
Must be able to deliver accurate cost information, reporting and guidance to management.
Proven skills and experience of change management, cost control for projects on global basis. Understanding of a variety of project types, structures, and contract terms.
Travel internationally to other regional engineering and project sites.
Commercial and technical acumen, working knowledge of change management, project cost, planning and document management tools and systems.
Working knowledge of project management, business development and finance.
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Numerate or related field preferred
Previous experience in Change Management / Project Execution / Project Controls
Ability to work within an established team to achieve targets and goals.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent knowledge and proficiency with the Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note)
Working knowledge of SAP, Primavera P6, Deltek Acumen is desirable
Excellent oral and written English proficiency is a must.
