Our client has a new STAFF position for a Project Engineer - Test & Equipment
This role is based in Renfrew on a STAFF package

The position may be suitable for an experienced Engineer or a POST Grad with some years experience in relevant discipline

About the role:
  • The Test & Equipment Qualification function within our Asset Management business area provide consultancy services to the Oil & Gas, Process, Nuclear and Renewables sectors in the field of Testing & Equipment Qualification.
  • Within this function we have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join us in Renfrew.
  • You would work as part of the team providing a wide range of expertise across the division as well as undertaking work across the wider Asset Management business.
What you will need:
  • Preparation of tenders to meet client requirements
  • Project manage and lead Equipment Qualification test programmes including financial and technical governance
  • Structural design and calculation of bespoke test rigs required to carry out Department contracts
  • Specification of instrumentation and data acquisition test set-up to meet client test programme requirements.
  • Analyse data generated from Equipment Qualification tests
  • Provide technical support to Asset Management Contracts
  • Write reports and technical documents
  • Occasional site based work will form a part of this role.
  • Our new Project Engineer will hold a relevant Engineering degree, and possibly a MEng (or working towards one).
  • Practical hands on experience in structural qualification of components within a relevant sector, instrumentation and data acquisition experience, and a thorough understanding of the mechanical engineering principals and their application within a component testing environment.
