Mission & Main Objectives:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Client's team as they approach future expansion within the battery manufacturing industry. Reporting to the SCM Production Control Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for parts/material supplier management and inventory, ensuring seamless supply to production.

 

Outline and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely supply of materials; presenting risks and mitigations to management when they occur.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP system and assist with stock audits to minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Lead supplier development activities to ensure SOP readiness to achieve all key Master Schedule milestones.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Facilitate meetings and discussions to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the process.
  • Enhance efficiency through development and implementation of key SCM processes.
 

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Parts/Material Control.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Previous project management and cross functional team working experience desirable.
  • Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Previous experience working with SAP or other ERP system.
  • Ability to work and interact with all levels in a multicultural organization.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills at all levels including the ability and confidence to present to the senior management team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
