Renfrew
Renfrew is on the banks of the river Clyde, 30 miles west of Glasgow. Traditionally a shipbuilding and engineering town. Renfrew is a small but very picturesque market town. There's an excellent range of shops and historic buildings, including the Rubislaw Garden, where you can enjoy views over the River Clyde.
There are several engineering companies in Renfrew; a lot of which specialise in the construction of large-scale projects such as bridges and other complex engineering ventures.
Trains from Renfrew run frequently to Glasgow Central station and many other destinations. Renfrew is a very useful transport hub with trains, buses, and now motorways, linking the town to Glasgow.
